What with the world being in what many are calling a recession, there are obviously a lot of people who are suddenly finding that they are out of a job and more often than not they allow this to have a very negative impact on their life as a whole. However this need not be the case if you are able to understand that this might just be the universes way of telling you it was a time for change.

It might just be the beginning of a whole new brighter future for you and all you need do is adopted the right attitude so as to be able to welcome the changes with open arms and embrace them. If you allow it to generate a negative mindset within you, then you will surely see negative results, but should you embrace it with a positive mindset and the motivation to make it work for you, then the result will surely be in your favor.

Here are a couple of pointers to get you headed in the direction of making the most out of your job loss and towards getting back on your feet.
  • Be very honest with your family – Be sure to discuss your job loss openly with your partner right from the beginning, many people will try to cushion the news of their job loss, but rather be open and honest about it with your partner right from the start so that you are able to handle it together.

By doing this you will both be able to come to terms with the reality right from the start and be able to assess your financial standing and ways in which you might be able to cut back on spending as till such time as you have been able to work things out.

Be sure to do the appropriate short term financial planning which will be necessary until you are able to figure out what it is you are going to do.

  • Consult with your previous employer – When you get laid off, do not simply walk away and leave it at that, be sure to consult with the company which was employing you as to what severance package you will receive and how many months of advance salary, be sure you get all you can before it is too late and you realize you could have been better off by simply talking to the company which was employing you.

  • Update and distribute your resume – What with the internet nowadays, it is far easier to get your resume out there and to a wide variety of potential employers. Be sure that your resume which you are sending out is completely up to date and that you list absolutely everything which you have or can do, it might not be a bad idea to not only focus on the area where you are now, but look further afield as this might yield better results.

  • Consider self employment – Ask yourself if there are a few things which you feel you are really good at and then take the time to invest in yourself and find ways to market yourself, there are many free courses available such as my Build a Web course which teaches you how you can build your own website for free which might hold within them much potential if you simply decide to take action and become the designer of your own financial future.

Finding Peace and Harmony in the Chaos

We all are now living in a technologically advanced society which operates at high speed and can sometimes seem to be totally chaotic, if we don’t allow ourselves to take a breather every now and again it can become very energy draining. The very computers and cell phones which we invented to make our lives easier have actually just picked up the pace.

With the advent of the computer age, everybody thought that it would be so that we could get things done faster and have more time for other things, but as we should have known, man simply realized that he was getting things done faster and therefore raised the bar as to the amount of work which is now expected to be done and continues to do so on a regular basis.

The result is that we are so focused on multitasking and keeping up with the pace that things are really starting to get chaotic and people are pushing themselves so as to keep up with the pack.

Well I am of the opinion that keeping up with the pack actually reduces productivity and the quality of the work being done. I try to teach my Wealth Creators Mentorship students and my Kaizen Wealth students that in order to be the best that you can be, you need to be able to bring the peace and harmony back into your life in order to get the best possible results and lead a life of abundance.

Here are a few pointers as to how you can go about turning the chaos around you into harmony so as to get the results which are best for you and what it is you are trying to achieve.
  • Slow things down – While we are very often expected to multitask, I am of the opinion that this does nothing more than cause people to scatter their thoughts and therefore not be focused on what it is which they are actually doing. Decide what the most important thing is which needs to be done to achieve your goal and give it your complete attention until you have completed it.

By doing this you will find that you greatly decrease the chaos and increase your productivity and therefore achieve your goal in a far shorter time without allowing the chaos to consume all your energy.
  •  Allow for essential breaks – Allowing for occasional short breaks so as to catch your breath and calm your mind will also do wonders for increasing the harmony which you feel and boost your productivity. This does not mean that you need to get out of the working environment, rather allow yourself a minute or two to quiet your mind and relax, learning simple breathing exercises or instant meditation techniques will help greatly in this regard and help you to improve your focus.

  • Keep yourself positive – No matter how chaotic things might seem around you, by simply being able to see the positive in any situation you will greatly increase the harmony within yourself while everything might be chaotic around you. Look around at all times for something positive which you can take out of any situation, it might be something as simple as a song you like, a smile or a picture which will increase the harmony within you.

  • Meditate – As I teach my Kaizen Wealth students through the daily mental exercises which they receive, meditation is a fantastic and effective way to bring order into your mindset and day and is very effective at creating harmony within you which allows you to perform at your peak without letting the chaos get a hold on you, by simply taking a few minutes of your time every day to quiet your mind you will be able to focus better through the day and effectively aid yourself to become the best that you can be.

Beating the Thief of Time – Procrastination

Time is one of my most treasured commodities, so beating the biggest thief of time, namely procrastination is vital to me. Far too many people fall into procrastinations trap as they look at what they need to but end up doing precious little to further their goals as some of the items on the list don’t look like fun or are to daunting.

The secret is to focus on the important things which need to be done in order to bring you closer to the life goals which you have set yourself, if we allow procrastination to stop us from achieving these goals then in effect we have let the thief of time get away.

Below I will list a couple of pointers to assist you to make sure that procrastination no longer is able to steal your time.

  • Apply the Kaizen Principle – Often when we are faced with something which we need to get done, the hardest part is getting started. This is where the Kaizen Principle comes in, this principle teaches us that in order to progress, and we need only take one step at a time but in a continuous motion. So what you need to do is simply take the first step towards achieving your goal and then gradually continue to move forward.

Keep the overall goal in mind but break it down into smaller steps which are more achievable and with each step which you complete you will be getting closer to the goal in mind. The main thing is to be able to see continual and constant improvement and before you know it you will have arrived at your goal.
  • Always have a definite goal in mind – If we are headed somewhere but we are not sure where it is, how can we expect to get there? This is often the reason for procrastination creeping in as it is easier to postpone doing something if we are not sure what it is. Always try to write down what it is which you need to achieve and the time frame in which you need to complete it.

By doing this you will now have a definite goal and a time to complete it in, this will help you to remain focused and driven to achieve the goal, it also helps you to start taking responsibility for your own actions.

  • All work and no play – Be sure that you allow yourself time to breath while working. Try to break the task at hand up into smaller steps and when you have completed a step take a brief break so as to give your mind time to breath, not only will it seem less like work this way, but you will also realize that you will meet the next step with more enthusiasm and renewed energy.

Seven Secrets to Stay on Task

Posted by Hannes Dreyer

Why is it that so many people have such a difficult time focusing on their tasks at hand? So many people really battle when it comes to simply getting themselves motivated or started on what it is that they need to do for the day, luckily there are definite steps which you can follow so as to overcome this problem.
Many of the ways which I will suggest to you so as to assist you to be able to do this might seem very simple, but that is the beauty of it all, once you are a Wealth Creator you will have gained the mindset which will enable you to simplify and speed up a lot of the tasks which would normally eat away at your valuable time throughout the day and which prevent you from achieving your full potential and ability to be the best that you can be.

Please do not be mistaken, just because these steps seem so simple, don’t allow yourself to be misled as to the power and effectiveness which they contain, sometimes the smaller and simpler things in life are those which are able to have the most effect on our productivity and overall performance.

Here are the 7 secrets to be able to stay on task:

  1. Be sure to have a visible list of your daily goals – The moment that you take the time to make a visible list of your goals for the day, is the moment you are beginning to structure your focus and concentration. Be sure to list your goals in order of importance and address those which you know can have the most impact first. Do not let trivial time wasters creep onto this list but rather have a short list of Power Goals than a list of trivial nonsense. Begin at the top and do not continue until you have met the first goal which you have set yourself, don’t worry if you do not get everything done in the day, but rather spend your time and effort focused on a goal which counts than the trivial time eaters.

  1. Avoid email distractions – Far too many people feel obligated to check their email every five minutes and this can become a really time consuming habit. As soon as you do this you are opening yourself up to the trap of reading all the jokes and other trivial emails which circulate and this can seriously eat away at your productivity. Rather make a scheduled routine as to when you check your mail, perhaps once or twice a day and allow those who might be sending you important information to understand that this is how you work and if it is really important they should contact you to let you know that it is something for your immediate attention.
  1. Avoid unnecessary disturbances such as noise – Now many people are in open plan offices and feel that this might be difficult to do, but there is a solution, invest in ear plugs or noise blocking headphones, this way you will have less distraction due to the conversations and noise going on around you.
  1. Keep a clear workspace – Try to keep the clutter on your desk or in your workspace to the minimum. By effectively doing this you will reduce the chances of allowing other work which ‘needs your attention’ from bothering you. It is a proven fact that if you keep only the work which is relevant to the task at hand around you, you will be far more productive and less likely to worry about other tasks which you might still have to handle, take it one step at a time and concentrate on the task at hand and you will get far more done and in a shorter time.

  1. Work to a schedule – Try to teach yourself and those around you that you need to stick to a schedule so as to be as productive as possible. Make it clear to those around you that you have certain times which you need to be left alone to get the job done and that they can consult with you if they have to, but not in those times. So if you find you are able to concentrate effectively in the morning hours, make it clear to them that you will only be available for consultation later in the day, try to stick to these schedules and you will be amazed at the results and difference which it makes.
  1. Avoid social networks while concentrating on a task – We are all aware of how amazing it is to be able to keep up with everybody on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or MXIT, but these social networks can also lead to a very negative drop in productivity. Rather be sure to focus on the task at hand first which can benefit you, before allowing yourself time for social networking. There is nothing wrong with these types of social networks, but if you are constantly monitoring responses on them, then there is no way that you will be able to achieve your goals or focus on the task at hand.

  1. Work in comfort – Are you aware of the fact that your productivity and your comfort in your working environment are actually very strongly linked. The comfier you are while working has been proven to have a significant influence on your productivity. Now this need not mean ordering new office furniture, rather find ways to make yourself as comfortable as possible such as buying a chair cushion.

Now as I said, these might all seem like really simple changes to make so as to stay on task, but believe me when I say that you will be amazed at the results you will see by simply following these secrets and opening your pathway to productivity up a bit wider so that you too can become the best that you can be.

The Kaizen Principle teaches us that it is not the size of the change or improvement which counts but rather that we make these improvements on a constant basis which counts, so do yourself a favor and strive for constant and never ending improvement and very soon you will achieve your goals or what I prefer to call Kaizen Wealth.

How to Get Results by Working Smarter Not Harder

Posted by Hannes Dreyer

We are all living in changing technological times and as the tools which we use such as computers, cell phones and other such equipment get faster and better, so too do the expectations concerning productivity and the amount of work which we are expected to be able to handle increase.

This often leads to people allowing themselves to get overburdened and this is not good for your productivity, but what we don’t always realize is that it is not always the fault of the faster systems we are using, but a fault of our own as we are not working smart.

Many of us tend to miss the fact that many of the tasks we are required to perform on a daily basis are very repetitive, but every day we allow them to steal a chunk of our time because they need to be done, but do we ever consider looking for more effective and efficient ways of getting these tasks done that rob us of our very precious commodity called time?

Working smarter, not harder is an essential part of how I choose to operate and when you are able to master this skill, you will be amazed at how much time you actually free up for yourself to be able to focus your attention on the really important matters which will have the most beneficial effect on your life.

I firmly believe in having systems and formulas in place to make it easier and quicker for me to achieve my goals and dreams as a Alchemist Mentor. It is for this reason that I chose to spend considerable time and apply years of accumulated knowledge into developing my Formula for Riches, Property Pro Analysis Software, Control Centre Marketing and a whole host of other systems which I use to aid me in lowering the risk and getting the results I desire when it comes to my investments and life in general.

By making use of these systems to be able to get results which I need to make financial investment decisions, I am able to do so in a fraction of the time which it would have taken me should I not have had these systems and formulas in place. This saves me a lot of time, a very valuable commodity, and frees me up to concentrate on other things which I feel are more important so as to continue my journey as a Wealth Creator.

Here are a couple of tips which I can give you which will help you to get started when it comes to working smarter and not harder.
  • Prioritize and be rid of time wasters – Many people allow trivial or unimportant tasks to eat away at their time on a daily basis. Always be sure to be able to recognize these time wasters and get rid of the habit of allowing them to eat into your time. Rather focus on the main tasks or goals which you have so as to be as productive as possible.
  • Keep it simple – If you know you are using the same format for documents which you need to do on a regular basis or emails which you need to send, try to create effective templates so as to reduce the amount of time you need to spend on these repetitive tasks. If you know you have regular calculations which need to be done, design a spread sheet which only needs the input of the variable values so as to do the calculations for you.
  • Automate standard procedures – Most daily tasks will follow a routine and those that do not fit into the typical daily routine are often the ones which are able to generate the most productive results as they are supporting change and change results in growth. So instead of taking of your precious time to do these tasks when you could be doing something constructive, try to automate these tasks, for example if you know you have to do daily backups put a system in place which will do these backups for you automatically later at night.
  • Don’t be afraid to delegate – Far too often we want to believe that we are the only one who can do things the right way and therefore become afraid to delegate some of the work to competent people around us. By delegating some of the less important tasks you need to get done to those around you who are there to support you, you will find that you have a lot more time to give quality focus to the important tasks at hand which will bring you closer to achieving your goals.
  • Be able to say no – In many instances people allow themselves to take on more work than they can handle for no other reason than they have not yet learnt how to say “No”. Before you can comfortably take on more work from others and not have it interfere with your own work, you will have to learn how to say “No”, otherwise you will be spending far too much time trying to get stuff done for others and this can come at a great expense to your productivity and effectiveness.
  • Maintain focus – Learn how to focus on your responsibilities and goals and not those of others. Once you have given your own responsibilities your full focus and been able to achieve what you had set out for yourself to do, only then will you have time to worry about the responsibilities of others, in this way you will be doing all you can to be able to achieve your goals before allowing others to distract your focus.
Now perhaps you will realize that working smarter, not harder is all to do with your planning, as I tell all my Alchemist Mentorship students, it all comes down to having plans, goals and systems in place. If you are able to learn how to do this effectively, you will soon find that you are far more productive and organized than ever before and you will begin to grasp the basics of what it is to be a Wealth Creator.

Finding Peace and Harmony in the Chaos

Well I am of the opinion that keeping up with the pack actually reduces productivity and the quality of the work being done. I try to teach my Alchemist Mentorship students and my Master Key students that in order to be the best that you can be, you need to be able to bring the peace and harmony back into your life in order to get the best possible results and lead a life of abundance.

• Don’t accept the negativity of others into your life – Don’t let the negative opinions of other people to influence your own positive mindset. This does not mean that you should cut yourself off from those around you but rather that you should make sure to be an effective gatekeeper of what you allow to influence your mindset. Remember the negativity of others is merely their opinion and need not become part of your way of thinking.
  • Eliminate the drama – People generally love drama, but it has a very negative influence on the harmony and positive mindset which you have and is not necessary. If a problem does not concern you, do not let yourself get involved. Take the time to evaluate problems effectively and by doing so you remove the drama from the problem and can be more focused on solving the problem rather than wasting time adding drama to it.
We all know that their will always be drama and chaos in the world around us, but it is your own decision as to how much of it you will allow to affect you. Become an action taker and make this action to create as much harmony and wellbeing in your own life and you will be amazed at how it will benefit you and all of those around you when you do.

Productivity through Correct People Management Skills

Posted by Hannes Dreyer

It does not matter who or what you are, you will be sure to be far better at whatever it is which you are doing if you are implementing effective people management skills. Whether you are rich or poor, a top politician or a street sweep, if you are able to master the art of correct people management skills, you will be able to improve your productivity and harmony around the workplace and at home.
Understand for one second, the better you are able to implement your people management skills, the more willing others will become to do what it is that you are asking of them and actually enjoy doing it for you. They will also be more willing to listen to what it is that you are saying and actually take it into account before they decide what it is they need to do to be able to help you in the way which is to the best of their ability.

By implementing such skills correctly you will be able to get the team around you to function at their optimum performance and efficiency and thus be able to boost productivity and results. Many of us simply tend to take things for granted around us and spend very little time developing these people management skills to their full potential.

Here are a couple of pointers which will certainly help you to begin to improve on these skills and believe me you will see the results in the productivity of those around you should you learn how to implement them correctly.
  • Respect earns respect – We must always remember that respect is a two-way-street, if you are not willing to show respect to those you are dealing with, the chances that they will respect you are minimal. Regardless of who the person is that you are dealing with, if you have strong enough character and strength to be able to show respect for them and what it is you want them to do for you, you will go a long way to improving the results and enthusiasm which they will produce for you. All of us have the desire to be respected, irrelevant of what it is which we are doing.
  • See things from their prospective – Try to constantly be aware of as to how you would feel should you be in their position, would you like the way in which you are approaching them and would this way be the best in terms of getting the best reactions and results out of them? Productive people managers know how to see negativity or unhappiness amongst their teams and know how to react and find ways to change these feelings, remember, a happy team is a productive team.
  • Effective delegation – If you take the time to be sure that you are delegating the correct tasks to the correct people, you are automatically giving them the chance to excel at whatever it is which you are giving them to do. The end result is that each and every member of the team is doing whatever it is that they are best at and morale is boosted and productivity goes up.
  • Be sure to show appropriate gratitude – When we are working with others, we often might feel grateful for all the good work which they do for us, but how often do we actually express this gratitude so as to let them know they and the work they do are appreciated and noticed? Take the time out to say “Thank you” when someone in the team has performed well and you will be amazed at how much it does for morale and productivity. Try to once in a while find special ways of showing this gratitude, it does wonders for the productivity of the team.
  • Honesty first – This is a principle which applies not only to people management skills but life in general. Always try to be honest at all times with all those around you and yourself, this way you will earn the trust of those around you and they will know exactly where they stand with you. When people are able to trust you, they believe what you say more easily and your opinions and actions mean far more to them.
  • Remember the compliments – Always look for the points which you really admire in the team or person you are working with, this way you can be sure to make sincere compliments on a regular basis so as to motivate them through your recognizing their strong or good points and not focusing on the negative.
  • Lastly learn to listen – Far too many of us are not willing to actually listen and learn what it is that others are actually trying to say. Listening is actually 50% of all communication, so if we neglect to do it correctly, all communications could possibly be negatively influenced. By simply taking the time to listen correctly and try to understand what it is that others are really trying to say, you will gain great insight into being able to hone your people management skills and the results which you achieve.

By simply using these techniques you will already be able to greatly improve your people management skills and boost not only the productivity of those around you but in effect your own productivity as well as you will have more time to concentrate your attention on the important stuff. If you have any other simple ways of improving your people management skills, I would love to hear them in the comment section.

Whether you believe it or not, your mindset or attitude is capable on having an immense effect on the results which you achieve in life. We often fail to realize it but the mindset which we choose to adopt in life plays a pivotal role in the results which we are able to achieve.
By simply adopting a positive mental mindset or attitude we are equipping ourselves to cope with challenges which appear on our path to success and a life of abundance. I often challenge my Master Key Students to go within and find their own inner strengths when they are faced with adversity, the ability to see adversity rather as a chance to learn and grow is a vital part of being able to build a healthy and positive mindset which will help you to progress down the road towards true wealth or a life of abundance and well being as I like to see it.

Many people tend to think that you need to posses an incredible talent or to be highly intellectual in life in order to succeed or become financially free, I however am of the opinion that it is each and every persons right to make their own goals and dreams come true, all they need to do is open themselves up to their inner ability and find out how it is that they are destined or meant to interact with the universal knowledge so as to make a positive difference for them and those around them.

However, far too many people allow negativity to have control over them and therefore never get to find out who they truly are and what they are capable of as they allow this negative mindset or attitude to poison all the seeds which they have planted in their minds and thus will have no fruits of the crop which they could celebrate. As things seem to get progressively worse they allow this negativity to get even more of a stronghold over them and gradually they simply wilt away.

As I teach in my Alchemist Mentorship Program and have proven to be true by the application of my Formula for Riches, the law of cause and effect is very real and unchanging. For every effect which takes place in our lives, there is a definite and undeniable cause for the effect. It is for this reason that if you make a concerted effort to make your thoughts and actions positive, then the effects which will result from these thoughts or actions will be positive as well.
  • In order to have positive results, one must be positive within oneself!
There is one huge difference between those who are successful and those who are not, those who are successful are able to visualize their success and accept it as a reality before it happens and those who do not succeed often believe they are doomed from before they even begin as they dwell on the negative and allow even the smallest of obstacles in their path be a reason for complaining, worrying and giving up all together.

Once you are able to focus on a positive mindset and positive thinking skills such as those which the mental exercises of my Kaizen Wealth Program teach, you will very rapidly find that it becomes easier to filter the negative thoughts out and protect your subconscious against them and you will really begin to see the effects which a positive mindset can have on your life within a very short period of time.

The minute one is able to truly master having a positive mindset, you will soon find that the energy and focus which you now have when confronted by obstacles or problems is immensely stronger and actually helps you to be able to see these obstacles or problems as challenges and an opportunity to learn and instead of being intimidated by them you will be excited and energized by them as they are presenting you with a learning opportunity and an opportunity to grow.

When one takes a look at the word “Wealth” we find that the actual origin and meaning of the word is “All round well being” and this is the concept and set of skills which I strive to teach my students, if we are able to bring about a state of harmony and well being in all areas of our life then there is absolutely no way that we will be denied a life of abundance and happiness which in my opinion is what wealth is all about.

Many people look at wealth simply in monetary terms, but I am of the opinion that to be able to have a state of true wealth and abundance in our lives is the only way we will ever truly be happy and have been able to apply the Kaizen Principle and strive for never ending and gradual improvement so that we can become the best we possibly can in all areas of our lives.

What with the world being in what many are calling a recession, there are obviously a lot of people who are suddenly finding that they are out of a job and more often than not they allow this to have a very negative impact on their life as a whole. However this need not be the case if you are able to understand that this might just be the universes way of telling you it was a time for change.

My Alchemist Mentorship Program also teaches its students exactly what they need to know so as to be able to begin with nothing and grow a fully functional business.
  • Be sure to learn about yourself – Knowing yourself and what it is that you are actually capable of instead of believing what you have told yourself or been told you are capable of. Very often people tend to underestimate their ability and the freedom which rightfully is theirs, this is a principle which I teach my Master Key students and believe me it can make the world of difference when you actually know who you are and what you are capable of.
  • Climb out of your comfort zone – Far too many people who have been in a so called stable job year after year have got so entrenched in a comfort zone that when it falls to pieces around them they feel that their life has come to an end.
I would rather want you to see it as a potential new beginning and do all that you can to embrace it and make it work for you, but to be able to do this one will need to break the shackles of your comfort zone and push yourself into finding the passion which can drive you to your financial freedom.

If you can find ways to make the best of a worst case scenario by being able to stare adversity in the face and deny its effects over you, then you truly have the potential and makings of a Wealth Creator, apply the Kaizen Principle in times of adversity by taking it on positive step forward at a time and you will be amazed at how quickly what seemed to be adversity will change into opportunity.

When it comes to getting organized whether it be at home or in the office, the principles stay the same. There are so many excuses or crutches which people use on a regular basis so as not to have to be confronted with the initial task of taking time to be organized in their lives, excuses such as “I don’t have the time!” or “I work better in the chaos!” are often used.

The truth of the matter though is quite the opposite, we are actually as a species very reliant on organization to determine our success and effectiveness, it is only the incorrect habits which we have become accustomed to and the thought of having to exert a bit of extra energy in the beginning phases of getting organized which we often allow to deter us.

The truth behind it all however is that to truly make the most of our time and to become more efficient in that which we are doing relies greatly on our ability to be organized and our clear knowing of where it is which we are headed. As I tell my Wealth Creators Mentors students, “How can you possibly plan to reach your destination or goal effectively and in the fastest possible time if you do not know where it is you are aiming to go?”

Yes to actually start to become organized in the work place or at home might take up more of your time initially, but once you have the systems and procedures in place which help you to remain organized, you will be absolutely amazed at how more efficiently and accurately you will be able to perform the tasks you need to in far less time than you would have been able to before.

Here are a couple of tips to help you in the right direction when it comes to getting a bit of order out of the chaos in your office or home life.

1.    Apply the Kaizen Principle – The Kaizen Principle teaches you that you need not build Rome in a day, but that you should rather focus on simply making daily improvements at a steady pace every day which will bring you closer to achieving your goal, in other words it is a journey of constant and never ending improvement.

So when you know how it is which you need to implement the organization which you seek in your life, don’t let yourself be deterred by thoughts that it all needs to be done immediately, rather implement this principle and make sure that every day you are improving and bringing yourself closer to the goal which you have in mind.

2.    Be realistic in your goal setting – Don’t try to set your organizational goals to high, yes focus on the dream but make your immediate goals as to how get organized achievable on a daily basis, this way you will be able to mark them off as they are achieved and will be able to see that you are progressing, remember, each step forward in the right direction is a victory and brings you closer to your end goal.

So if your end goal is to have a clean and organized office, instead of trying to clean and organize the office in one day, rather take a day or two for cleaning and then a day or two for the organization, this way getting organized will not take up to much of the time required of you to be able to effectively do your other work.

3.    Turn bad habits into good ones – Sit down and be honest with yourself and assess what bad habits of yours lead to your disorganization. Then what you need to do is find ways to turn these bad habits into good ones.

Say for example your paperwork is always lying around and you find yourself spending hours trying to make sense of it all at the end of the week. Make it a good habit to then rather take the extra five minutes at the end of the day so as to keep your paperwork and filing up to date so as to avoid this scenario, you will be amazed at what a difference it makes to your productivity in the long run.

4.    Recognize and affirm what it is which you have achieved – By taking the time to recognize the progress which you have made on a daily basis and to affirm this mentally you will be taking great strides in the direction of keeping yourself motivated and bringing yourself closer to achieving your goals.

Many people forget to evaluate that which they have achieved and give themselves recognition therefore and this is why so many people loose that driving force behind them which is known as self motivation.

Whether it is in your career, home life or any other area of your life, it is a proven fact that being organized and having effective systems in place will have very positive effects on your mental state and the results which you achieve in what you choose to do.

Yes in the beginning it might be time consuming and awkward, but this feeling of being out of your comfort zone, as I teach my Alchemist Mentoring students is all part of the process of growing and moving forward. Just remember, if we are not moving forward or growing, then we are either sliding backwards or dying. Please be sure to leave your comments as to how being organized has made a difference in your life.
