So many people allow the pain which they have been caused in the past to negatively affect their future and quality of life, although this might seem very common place it is actually a very real and disempowering emotion. Learning to overcome and move on is vital to us all and very important to me as a Wealth Creator.
We need to understand that pain, although essential in some scenarios, can actually be a very negative emotion for us to carry around for extended periods of time and even more so if you consider that it is usually accompanied by another bunch of negative emotions such as anger, hatred, self blame, depression and any number of others.
Deep down we all desire to be happy and contempt in our lives, but this is likely to become more and more difficult as we allow ourselves to exist with ever increasing amounts of pain and resentment building up within us. This is why I am going to give you a couple of suggestions as to how you might go about getting over this pain and freeing you to move on and continue to grow in your life.
Here are a few tips:
- Recognize your pain or its cause – In order to overcome something, firstly we need to clearly understand what it is so that we then can find ways to overcome it. You will naturally be able to know that something is causing you pain, but the secret lies in the ability to accurately recognize what it is that is causing the pain so as to be able to deal with it.
Many people will begin by blaming any number of other people for their pain, however the truth is that your pain is only yours and it is you who chooses to harbor it. By finding the correct cause for your pain and not the individual you think is causing it, you will soon realize that you need not point a finger of blame in order to be free of it, but rather that you can elect to not allow it any further power over you and your life.
- Vocalize your pain – Very often the people who we think have caused us this pain are no longer around in our lives for us to be able to tell them what we are feeling and very often even if they are, we choose not to say anything and rather choose to bottle all these mixed emotions up inside us.
This however is no good for you as just like anything else negative which we choose to allow into our lives, it begins to grow and actually manifest within our lives. It is far better to speak to someone you can trust or a therapist so as to actually be able to vocalize your pain and who knows, maybe they will have a bit of insight for you which will help you to overcome your pain. Regardless, no matter if they have words of wisdom for you or not, it is proven that it is always healthier and therapeutic to get things out in the open.
- Confront your pain – This is very often difficult to do as many people fear their pain and do not know how to effectively deal with it. What you need to do is recognize the fact that it is your pain and therefore you decide how much power you will allow it over your mind and life.
The best way to do this is to apply the Kaizen Principle to your pain and strive to get better and better at overcoming it on a daily basis. Once you know what is causing the pain, make peace with it and slowly push it out of your life on a constant basis, realize that you are the master of your emotions and that your pain is only as powerful as you allow it to be.
Write down what it is that is causing your pain and then read over what you have written at a latter stage with the intent to find the solution as to how to overcome it in mind, this might sound really stupid but trust me it works.
- Learn the art of forgiveness – The moment you make the conscious decision to forgive whatever it is which might be causing your pain, you will have won half the battle already. So long as you cling to the pain and its causes by looking for those to blame and ways to get even or feel that they have paid there dues, all you are effectively doing is hurting yourself even further.
True freedom of your pain will only come once you make a conscious decision to forgive whatever or whoever caused the pain as then it becomes their burden to bear and you are no longer sharing it with them. The sooner you learn how to truly forgive, the sooner you will be free of the negative effects which you are allowing this pain to have in your life.
All of us are exposed to pain throughout our lives, how we choose to deal with it is our own choice and a very important one at that. Either you can choose to carry this pain with you and allow its negativity to affect your entire life, or you can make peace with it and set it free so that it no longer has a hold or control over you.
Kaizen Wealth is about experiencing abundance and harmony in all areas of our lives and constantly growing and improving so as to reach our full potential. Emotions such as pain and anger only bring with them negativity which leads to substandard results, so free yourself from your pain today and you will be amazed at how much better things will begin to go in your life.
